Singer of the Year： Samuel Tai


Samuel Tai, a well-known romance singer, nicknamed the "Prince of Roses." Tai was born in Hong Kong and discovered in Taiwan. His musical career blossomed after winning the "First Popular Music Contest" in 1988. His song "Nine Hundred Ninety Nine Roses" became a huge hit in 1993 when his first album "Looking For A Word" was released. Through the course of his 20 year singing career and with more than 30 albums released with notables singles like, "A Thousand Paper Cranes", and "One Thousand and One Nights." In recent years, Tai has been producing gospel songs to promote his love for Jesus.
